I'm Alyssa Chitwood, the brains and heart behind The Calm Bride. Ever since I was 16, I've approached the art of hosting the perfect party with dedication. After growing up in hospitality & events, I realized that my dream was to turn my passion for orchestrating a flawless event into a career. What started as an 18 month journey planning my own wedding has evolved into the greatest job in the world. My approach to weddings is simple: carefully crafted execution with meticulous attention to the details that matter most to your love story and celebrating you as the guests of honor. I aim to provide not only support in planning, but also a safe space for all the emotions the planning process brings, and truly consider it the honor of a lifetime to be part of my couples wedding day.
